This areas was a lot of fun to explore with waterfalls, historic downtown, and more!

  1. Bridal Veil Falls: This 60 ft tall waterfall is located just off the Scenic Byway road and is a very accessible stop, with an observation deck just across from it.
  2. Devil’s Bathtub: It has natural waterslide! It is around 2 miles round trip hike through a canyon and across streams to get to the final destination, a smooth, but narrow passageway through rocks! Make sure wear water shoes!
  3. Downtown Deadwood: There is so much to see! With cool architecture, casinos, shops, and much more!
  4. Mt. Moriah Cemetery: Deadwood’s famous residents including Wild Bill Hickok, Seth Bullock, and Calamity Jane. It’s free for us because I am Deaf to visit the cemetery, but it do cost $2 worth with beautiful histories, grounds, and nice views.
  5. Chubby Chipmunk: A local chocolate shop with delicious chocolate truffles in a variety of flavors! So yummy!
