Captions: I know Christmas and the winter holidays are coming very soon in couple months, but I know many people who deposit money into a fund specifically for the winter holidays. I have never done this, but I feel that this is a great idea, so that the amount you spend at Christmas time doesn’t seem to be as much of a burden.
Kris and I have daughter and I always end up spending a ton of money around Christmas time for her. Kris has a small family as we are ok to spend, and I have a big family with so many nieces and nephews which I really do love them and spoil them.
We decided on a budget of around $30 for each of the kids our nieces and nephews this year and spend a little more on our daughter of course. And then we can spend on each other. As I have said this now, I hope to set a very clear budget for us to follow this year!
