While You Are Waiting…..

As I shared my experience in my second post couple days ago and I have compared the difference from year of 2000’s and today as 2019 as I have researched on VRS (Voc. Rehab. Service) and clients who are deaf their experiences which was not very great to know.

As VRS Counselors have to put clients on wait list and if that has happened to you? That’s ok! Now you are on wait list, now what? What are you waiting for?

There are ways to go to college or find a job or open a business…..

  • Scholarships/Grants/Work Study Program: Do your research, apply much as you can, and ask your friends, family, or someone to help you. Type Google there are so many ways to find.
  • Take online classes (There are a few free and other will have to pay but cheaper)
  • Business plans: It is a very important to make your business plan as you make goals for three to five years plans while you are waiting for VRS to be ready for you to move on a step.
  • Don’t expectation VRS Counselor do all works for you and it’s your responsible to take an action at same time work with VRS Counselors and follow their steps.
  • It is OK to ask for help since you CAN’T do it alone!
  • Don’t wait and take an action!
